LABOR DOULA AND POSTPARTUM CARE IN LOS ANGELES, CA
Your Doula offers "A Dads and Partners Workshop".
This unique interactive workshop is a wonderful way of getting dads together before the birth of their baby. During the workshop, I do a quick overview of the birth process as well as some hands on labor support review.
Dads and partners can talk to one another about the hopes, expectations, and any concerns they have about the birth of their baby. As an educator, I can answer questions they may have regarding the birth process, and I can demonstrate comfort measures and positions that will help when their partner is in labor.
The workshops are usually about 2 hours long and take place in my home on a Sunday morning. Bagels and coffee are served!

This interactive, fun, and informative workshop gets dads together. Not only do they play Baby Bingo...But
They can also talk about the upcoming birth of their baby, share their hopes, expectations, and any concerns or questions they may have. The birth process is reviewed They receive a refresher course on comfort measures and breathing exercises that work during labor.
There is time set aside for open discussion when any number of subjects are covered: interventions, medications used in labor, and what to bring to the party!
At the end of the workshop, dads will receive their own "Labor Support" goody bag!
